Are you a sports fan? If so, what is your favourite team? Yes, I like to support any Italian coach within the premier league but I also support Liverpool.
What causes are you passionate about? I am passionate about learning. I do enjoy learn new things and working within our industry always brings new opportunity to learn.
What is an interesting fact about you? I have played for few years as a professional tennis player, but never achieved anything too big other than some regional tournament.
A bit about your job role
What is your current job title? Mechanical Estimator and Designer.
What other job titles have you had in your career? Maths, Chemistry and Physics Tutor.
Why did you choose to work in your industry? My career advisor at university suggested me this route.
Why do you like your job? Every project is different and we face various challenges every day. Being in constant contact with the client, engineers on sites and supplies makes things even more exciting!
How would you describe your career in three words? Achieve continuous improvement!
What makes you unique in your profession? I like to understand how every system works and so when I need to face a new challenge I go deep into the subject.
What is your favourite thing about your career or industry? I can see that I am developing day by day, but there is still lots to learn and experience.
If you could give a younger person career advice, what would it be? Don’t undersell yourself but be prepared to face new challenges.
What is your favourite memory from your career so far? From the first few days after joining DME I was already trusted to work on tenders on my own despite have no previous experience. This boosted my trust into the company and in myself.
